□GODS PROTOCOL In life, there are certain protocols that must be followed when around certain people. But whats the protocol when approaching God? Solomon gives us a hint in Ecclesiastes. Ecclesiastes 5:1-2 As you enter the house of God, keep your ears open and your mouth shut. It is evil to make mindless offerings to God. Dont make rash promises, and dont be hasty in bringing matters before God. After all, God is in heaven, and you are here on earth. So let your words be few. Hebrews 4:16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. You know, God is King of Kings and Lord of Lords and he deserves our respect. But he is also our Savior and friend and asks us to draw near. So dont be afraid to approach God, but dont be a jerk either, ok?
