GODS WORD FOR DAILY LIVING Scripture Reading for Today;(James 3) " Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness and wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self- seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace." (James 3:13-18) NKJV Each of us need to search our hearts and see if we have self-seeking in our hearts, for that will lead to our falling away fro God, and returning to old worldly ways, and that is just what satan wants. He will use things he knows we we desire to pull us down, it is so easy for him to put things he knows we would like to change, or things we would love to possess to draw us back into the world. "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and all else will be added unto you." Today is the day to ask yourself, what is most important to me?
