GOING FISHING?? WAIT A MINUTE!!!!!! “I’m going fishing,” Simon Peter told them, and they said, “We’ll go with you.” So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing. John 21:3 ... Beloved, dont go fishing because there is a boat and a net, lest you caught nothing... There goes Peter the great Apostle, the one God gave the revelation of who Jesus is before the rest of the world, the one that Jesus called three times and commanded three times to take care of My sheep.. The one that started with Jesus from the beginning of His ministry on earth till He was taken into Heaven, Peter that witnessed all the signs and wonders, the miracles, the healings, even a trip to the transfiguration arena performed by Jesus while He was with them.. But shortly after the death of Jesus, Peter lost all hope, Peter became confused, Peter decided to go back to what Jesus had delivered him from, (fishing).. Peter decided to abandon his calling,obviously thinking the death of Jesus was an end to that ministry. But thank God for Jesus who rescued him... Many of us are like Peter right now, tired of a situation and tired of waiting for any miracle, very confused about which way to go. And now you are contemplating on doing it your way...May you never go back to what God has delivered you from. I pray that Jesus will meet you half way to stop that move, I pray that the God who rescued Peter and gave him clarity of purpose will do same for you in Jesus Name... Amen!!!!
