GOOD MORNING JESUS Matthew 4:8-11 NLT Next the devil took him to the peak of a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. “I will give it all to you,” he said, “if you will kneel down and worship me.” “Get out of here, Satan,” Jesus told him. “For the Scriptures say,‘You must worship the Lord your God and serve only him.’” Then the devil went away, and angels came and took care of Jesus. Ultimately, Satan wants us to worship him, instead of God. Too often, he succeeds in this, and we are tricked into worshiping idols to the extent that we endanger our ability to delight in the Lord God. We choose entertainment,jobs, hobbies, and so many other things and try to use them in place of our Lord. We worship them and look to them to fulfill us. Sadly, we do this with other people as well; both in friendships and marriages. No one can replace God in your life, and its a fools errand to worship anything else in His place. Remain in the love of Christ: worship God alone. HAVE A BLESSED DAY
