GOOD MORNING! Today, I have always tried to give a helping hand! Reaching out to those in need , shows who you are and your love for mankind!! This is a good way to heal your wounds in both you and the person your helping! Its in our capacity to love and to give a helping hand! This brings out your saving grace ! Now your saving grace is a divine gift and it is meant to be shared! Recently, (true story) , I was at our local grocery store, when an elderly, homeless fellow came up next to me and asked me if I had any change I could spare, for he was hungry! And honestly I really didnt have any change, I did have a 5 dollar bill and a 20 dollar bill and nothing in between! Yet my inner voice told me to be generous and my interaction with this fellow, I knew how it felt not to have not one red cent to my name! So forever being grateful for what I do have, I helped this fellow out! Now Im not rich by any means; it would have been easier to mumble No! , and turn around and walk away from him! Instead I reached into my pocket and pulled out that 5 dollar bill and hand it to him! His entire demeaner suddenly completely changed! He stood up straighter and taller, and the smile he gave me just lit up his face! We spent the next 5 minutes or so just talking about how grateful we both were! For the sky, the sunshine, all the pretty flowers that are in full bloom, this time of year! So for with this small gesture I was able to give us both a happy moment! And the gift to touch another persons life in a way that I will never forget! And if only for a few minutes, we were both transported to another place in our hearts and minds! So today please look for an opportunity to make a difference in someone elses life, and remember no matter how small the gesture, you will feel better all day and sleep good at night! This makes God happy! Today I feel grateful , now that feeling of refuge is not found in my mother, or not even my grandmother, or even in the birds of the Rio Grande! My refuge exists in my ability to Love!
