GOODAFTERNOON FROM WAHOE COMMUNE: We (Wahoe Commune) are presenting our Women Empowerment Program in Shimla for Himalayan Villages Region. Our main motive is to provide the women employment and make them independent. Mahi (Incharge of Women Empowerment) is leading this Project. She is from Shimla District and she joined Wahoe three months ago. She is very hardworking and capable to do her work. She has keen observation. She is starting it with a great anxiety and courage. May god help her in project success. We are starting our project by making handmade carry bags. Our Himalayan villages women are totally dependent on the male members, it makes them helpless and they do not have any idea to get employed.............they have to suffer many difficulties. They are in very poor condition.... dependent even her basic needs, always beg in front of males and economic problem causes domestic violence. It is a social problem. So, we will go home to home in villages and Mahi will help the villages women in making bags by which they can be independent and will be able to earn money.........and able to make their existence. We are very sure, it will definitely work and women will become self dependent in future. If anybody is interested to buy these bags, it will be great help in our project. Please contribute, donate or aware about this project to everybody as much as possible. Today we are celebrating Womens Day. We joined Mahi (Incharge of Women Empowerment) in making bags. Mahi taught us to make bag with a fantastic way and we tried to make. She made many bags and now she is making mobile cover. These bags are made by nylon and are very soft but little bit heavy. We can put many things into these bags. Bags are attractive and as well as strong. One bag takes 20 to 25 days or depends on size of bags. Every woman has a good opportunity if she learns to make bags it will be helpful to earn money and make them independent. HAPPY WOMEN’S DAY TO ALL OF YOU MAHI…
