GOODMAN-COALE, JULIE MARIE It is with great sadness to announce Julie Marie Goodman-Coale passed away the morning of Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at her home in Culver, IN. Julie was born in Garden City, MI on November 8, 1968. She was raised in Ann Arbor, MI where she attended Huron High School. Julie graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and became a Registered Nurse specializing in the care of neonates and pediatrics. She moved to Culver, IN six years ago with her love and soul mate, Richard C Chambers III. Julie struggled daily with a condition known as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), also known as Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSDS), a chronic pain condition. Despite her disability, Julie was able to enjoy many hobbies including sewing, baking, reading, garage sales and thrift stores, kayaking, hiking, and fishing; as long as they didnt interfere with her greatest passion, University of Michigan football. Julie would also volunteer in her community wherever her time was needed. She and Richard would regularly kayak and hike the shores of Lake Maxinkuckee gathering trash to keep the lake clean for others to use and enjoy.
