GOV. CHRISTIE IS GOING DOWN Christies Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno - TopicsExpress

GOV. CHRISTIE IS GOING DOWN Christies Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno admitted today the conversation between herself and Hoboken mayor Dawn Zimmer took place but claimed Zimmers account was false. Obviously she cannot deny the conversation since an electronic record exists. She failed to characterize the nature of the conversation claiming ongoing investigation. Yea, that makes sense. Mayor Zimmer continues to stand by her account and stated today: “I am genuinely disappointed that Lieutenant Governor Guadagno has lived up to her promise that she would deny linking Hoboken’s application for Sandy hazard mitigation funding with expediting a private development project,” she said. “I met with the U.S. attorney for over two hours yesterday, answered all their questions and turned over my journal in which I described my conversation with the lieutenant governor and Commissioner Constable. I stand by my word, remain willing to testify under oath, and I will continue to answer any questions asked of me by the U.S. attorney’s office.” Incidentally, the project at issue was proposed by the Rockefeller Group, a company represented by the law firm of David Samson, a close ally of Mr. Christie who is chairman of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and who has been implicated in attempts to cover up the Bridgegate scandal currently roiling the Christie administration.
