GOVERNORS ABORTED REFERENDUM AND THE MASTERS OF DOUBLE SPEAK. The much hyped referendum by the Governors could not come to fruition because its proponents resorted to weapon of the last resort...one would like to ask: 1. Were all the avenues exploited? No. 2. was is it a Chemutai( peoples) driven? No 3. Did the greedy governors seek audience with the Government of the day? No. 4.Are the Governors really in dire need of more funds when they did not exhaust the previous allocations? NO. Fearing the backlash from the citizens the governors have retreated back because more questions on accountability were raised and the rogue governors could not supply sufficient answers. What the Rebel Governor Isaac Rutto and his faithfull lieutenant Governor Lagat of Nandi ought to understand very clearly is, that the people are more interested in issue based politics, accountability, development rather than side shows and arm-twisting the of the National Government.
