GP Night at the Waverley With no speedway at Derwent park until 9th September why not join us next Saturday (7th September) at the Waverley Hotel in Workington to watch the Slovenian Speedway Grand Prix which is to be broadcast live on Eurosport from 6pm. There will be no charge for entry but we will be holding a sweep stake and possibly a raffle (dependent upon numbers) with all proceeds going to the Safety Fence Fund. During the night we will also be getting regular updates from Rye House where the Comets will be riding against the Rockets in what will be their last away fixture prior to the play-offs. So dont forget to pop in and join us for a good crack and some SPEEDWAY ACTION you know it makes sense
