GRATITUDE DAY 4 Today Im at UCSF meeting Dr. Teresa DeMarco, said to be the top cardiologist in SF. As Im being examined, tested, poked and proded, my thoughts of gratitude turn toward the topic of health. 1. Im grateful that primarily Ive always been in good health. When you consider all the possible ailments, conditions, and diseases out there I feel lucky with the hand Ive been delt. I still posses all five senses, I still have control of my motor skills and my bowels, and I feel pretty damn good most of the time, and for that I am eternally grateful. 2. Im grateful that so many woderful people work in healthcare. Ive been treated with such respect and kindness by everyone from receptionists to interns, aides to technicians, to doctors and nurses. Generally everyone has a smile on thier face and a gentle and sincere demeanor. I realize not everyone who works in the field fits this descriotion and not everyone shares my sentiment but in my visits to St. Marys, Davies and now UCSF, this has been my experience and die that I am eternally grateful. 3. Im extremely grateful that I have insurance. I cant imagine needing medical attention and being unable to get it. There is no way I could afford care without insurance and for that I am eyeballing grateful. DAY FOUR GRATITUDE CHALLENGE Today I challenge healthcare professionals Rebecca Goldfader, Terrill Grimes, and Jose A Mercado. For the next 8 days post 3 thing for which yoy are grateful. Tag me in your post. Dont forget to challenge 3 others to do tge same.
