GRATITUDE TO YOU MISSIONARIES! I take my hats off in owe of respect to those early Christian missionaries landed in our shores, and those missionaries still in our shores. Since and at the time I reached maturity to understand well the meaning of the Great Commission and those who put their hands up to answer the Great Commission call from on high, dedicated themselves and their families wholeheartedly, given up Earthly but important opportunities in the land of well-to-do and landed on our then primitive land of the wild west, I normally pour some warm never -ending tears of thanks giving to the Lord Almighty for giving them the peace, determination and the will to come to our shores, bringing with them the wonderful story of all time, the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the hope of eternal life in his death and resurrection, the redemption story, the story of salvation, all the wonders in the life in Christ Jesus our Lord. When the prayers are sweet, when the prayers are answered, when the faith is at work and when we grow in faith, we thank our God Lord and know that as much as all gentiles owe that gratitude to Apostle Paul and several early apostles, early holiness massagers in Martin Luther and John/Charles Westley and the rest, we owe some greatest of gratitude to the missionaries who landed on the shores of the wild west with courage and planted the message in our land, then New Guinea (now Papua New Guinea). Some fearlessly explored the Momase, especially Lutheran and Assembly of God Missionaries, Catholic and several others. Others fearlessly explored the New Guinea Islands, especially the Catholic, United Church, Anglican and several others. Some fearlessly explored the Southern Region, especially the Seventh Day Adventist Church, the United Church, the Anglican, the Catholic and the like. Others fearlessly explored inward into the fearful war-faring central highlands where our people and were minding their typical war faring activities. Those were Lutheran Missionaries, the BMC, the then EBM, Baptist, Nazarene, EBC etc. You planted the message through Gods help alone in the land presented with all new challenges in language barriers, cultural barriers, primitives majority who didnt want to give in but saw your coming as spirits of the ancestors who died long ago. We do know it was never that easy but you came and settled, you planted the WORD, you lived, you changed many through sign language where the Spirit of God spoke mightily in the sign language and broken down several of our fathers wide across the country who were converted fully, who then assisted and worked with the missionaries and were the first native holiness preachers! We are fortunate enough to born into and grow in the Word planted to the hearts and minds of our parents by those of you our wonderful missionaries. I thank God, I salute the missionaries, with a heart full of emotion filled with tears of gratitude I take my hats off to those missionaries who lost their lives in our shores in various places. I thank God for the living and the dead. We treasure you all the missionaries. Thank you God for the missionaries.
