GREAT NEWS! Dominics results are in and they are clear! We are beyond relieved. The radiologist was able to figure out what was going on. The breathing tube Dominic needs while he is sedated was affecting the appearance of his lips and nose and it imitated a tumor. Dominic is now 4 months off treatment and is officially NED (no evidence of disease). YAY!!!!!! Dominics team of nurses, doctors and his case manager all came and sang Happy Off Treatment to You and gave him a certificate and an off-treatment present. Dominic loved the song and enjoyed seeing so many familiar faces. We are so lucky to have such wonderful people who have been providing care to him (and us). Next month, Dominic will have his one year post radiation follow up with his radiation oncologist and his next scans will be in two and a half months.
