GRUNTS and fans, a very close friend whom I refer to as my best - TopicsExpress

GRUNTS and fans, a very close friend whom I refer to as my best friend, my Brother, just found out that one of the soldiers he served with took his own life today. This is a feeling that most of us know all too well. The feeling of sorrow, remorse, confusion. There are always questions left unanswered when one of our own takes their life. It always hits home when you hear about another soldier taking their life. We end the month of September, suicide awareness month, with a somber reminder of how real this issue is. If you need help, reach out and get it. Do whatever you have to do to get yourself the help you deserve. Check on your Brothers, often. We all are hiding some evil, others more so than the rest. The only way we can keep our Brothers from becoming a statistic is to reach out to them. Tonight I will be remembering one of my Brothers who took his life and lending my shoulder and ear for another Brother who is left asking why. Check on your Brothers, it can save a life. Feel free to share a drink with me in honor of another Brother who left us too early. RIP. - E-Tool
