GUIDELINES FOR PASSENGERS AFFECTED BY TYPHOON YOLANDA In view of Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) that is affecting mostly the southern part of the Philippines, PAL and PALexpress will be cancelling today, November 8, 2013, flights to/from the following domestic stations: Tacloban, Calbayog, Catarman, Cebu, Tagbilaran, Dumaguete, Bacolod, Iloilo, Roxas, Kalibo, Caticlan, Masbate, Legaspi, Naga, Puerto Princesa, Busuanga, Butuan, Surigao, Cagayan de Oro, Ozamiz, Dipolog, Davao, General Santos, Zamboanga, Sanga- Sanga and Jolo ---------------- The following international flights are cancelled, as well today, November 8, 2013l: PR 434/433 Cebu- Narita-Cebu 2P 875/876 Manila-Kuala Lumpur-Manila 2P 800 Manila-Singapore 2P 801 Singapore-Manila (November 9) ---------------- On the other hand the following flights are operating today (November 8): All PAL international flights (except PR434/433 Cebu- Narita- Cebu) PR 2918/2919 Manila-Laoag-Manila 2P 658 Manila-Dubai 2P 084/ 085 Manila-Basco-Manila 2P 014/015 Manila-Tuguegarao-Manila The following are the guidelines to be observed in handling passengers holding tickets with confirmed booking on November 08-09, 2013. 1. Tickets may be rebooked to the next available flight/s within thirty (30) days from original date of departure without additional collection/penalty provided: 1.a booked on the same routing 1.b within ticket validity 1.c using the same BCC However, if the original BCC as reflected on the ticket is full, rebook to the next available BCC (within the same cabin) without additional charge. Re-issue ticket and input on the Endorsement/Restriction box: COCON TYPHOON YOLANDA 2. In cases when rebooking shall be made on flights beyond thirty (30) days, applicable fees and fare difference shall be assessed. 3. Tickets may be refunded without penalty. Input on the Refund Process Sheet: COCON TYPHOON YOLANDA 4. For passengers affected by domestic flight cancellation that are holding tickets with an immediate connection to PR or 2P international flight, said ticket with international journey maybe rebooked to the next available flight without penalty, provided no change in routing or BCC and within ticket validity. Passengers booked on cancelled flights yesterday, November 7, 2013 due to the effects of Typhoon Yolanda (Surigao, Caticlan, etc) shall be covered by the same guidelines detailed above.
