Galant Dog!© George Holder My kind hearted son-in-law Edward in the kindness of his heart took into his vast back yard wilderness a mighty dog in loan. It seems that edwards brave dog had a very close encounter of the smelly kind with a skunk. Edward & dog have been scrubbed with a vast abundance of soap and water at least three times and there is barely even a hint of said skunks unique aroma on brave dog, I must report that the tale (tail) does not end here because kind hearted Edwards wife has reported that brave dog has not quite learned his lesson. There has been to Edward and dogs dismay another encounter with said skunk. I hear another regimen of soap and water as been applied to said dog with Edwards able assistance. I fear that this story will not end well for either brave dog, skunk, or Edward. I am holding the presses for further reports on this developing story!
