Galatians 5:22-23 FRUIT OF SPIRIT Colossians 3:18 wives must submit to husband, AS UNTO THE LORD Isaiah 53:5, John 3:16 & Joshua 24:15 etc... I Google search: wives submit to husband as unto the Lord, to an unbeliever spouse?. It is a message from a woman to Christian wives of unbelieving of Christ , husbands!!! ( believing in Christ at this time in marriage aka yet). A little different story, but the WORD concept works in any situation of a believer wife Submit, to spouse AS UNTO THE LORD. (Submit: Wives to spouses (believers & unbelievers)!!! As Unto the Lord. Is the most important reason of submit to spouse!!! This does not mean to suffer abuse. Submit I Pray Lord to protect & find a safe haven of those suffering abuse!!! This speaker will go into this, she is very articulate on that subject. Example of Christian wife forgetting to submit to the husband as unto the Lord some moments in their marriage: Wives, Instead of irritating spouse maybe try to take cleansing Breaths, walk away from situating & go into PRAYER & feed on The WORD, to defuse us wifes own aggenda. (If it is safe to walk away from spouse.) Our plans for an unbeliever Spouse (not spouse plans): Things he should do or not do. to this or not do that ..etc... I want spouse to be a believer aka follower of Christ.. etc... Im Thinking of a story I heard before. Paraphase: A nagging believer wife, dealing with an unbeliever husband. The husband got home from work. He goes to get a book to read & wind down. But the wife has company coming in a couple hours has needs for husband to do somethings for her agenda. Not really a necessary Need to the spouse. Spouse says No a couple times & I dont want to do that! Wife continues her needs, again & again... The spouse says stop (since his no, did not get her to stop asking). Until husband was yelling: stop, stop, I said Stop STOP, STOP!. Finally wife stop to Submit to her husband @ unto the Lord. The company came. Had no idea of stress prior of wife not submit right away to husbands needs. She did have great fellowship time with company. Her request actually werent necessary! Now fyi this is not my scenario of my husband not wanting me to go to church, or yelling, praise God!!! Thankfully the message works with my situation to Submit to the Lord & please God let Holy Spirit help me!!! Allow God to deal with a spouses heart to soften ... Nagging, nit picking, etc (put in your adjective habits toward spouse. ) To nag is like picking a scab & repeatly. That wont heal the wound & it may not heal a marriage or may drive spouse farther away from Christ. Remember Submit As UNTO THE LORD!!! Not by our power, but of God’s will be done!!! Daily this will be a lifetime on earth work in progress. Caution just when we think have got submission under control , it is possible to fall! Recommend to depend on Jesus, daily!!! So unto the Lord, I am going to step out boldly in faith ( because my heart is pounded hard Im being a bit fearful to share) ... I pray Gods will be done!!! Amen
