Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV) But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance; against such there is no law. Here we are in the changing stages of fall. When I look at the fall leaves, and notice all the vibrant colors of the season, I see warmth, energy, and boldness. The colors of fall cannot be mistaken for any other: oranges, reds, purples, yellows, etc; these are the colors of Autumn. These colors scream loudly when you look at them, they are bright and beautiful, and show the beauty of our Creator. Then, I wonder; when someone looks at me, do they see warmth, do they see the boldness for our Savior, do they see the beauty beauty of our Creator? As a Christian, we must have the fruit of the spirit within us to be able to reach a dying world. We must possess the characteristics of Christ to be able to lead someone to the cross. As you witness the changing of the leaves, observe your own heart; Is it vibrating joy and peace boldly, are you demonstrating meekness, and gentleness? If not, spend some time with the Master, and ask Him to make the needed changes. (Hes the only one that can).
