Galatians Sharing // Chapter 3 This chapter is a part of the letter written by the apostle Paul to the church of Galatea. In this particular chapter, Paul reminds the Galatians how it is they are saved in Christ. He reminds us that it is by FAITH that we are saved, NOT WORKS. The Galatians went back to relying on works and the flesh to be "righteous". Paul brings us back to Abraham, the father of faith, and quotes from the old testament that "Abraham believed in God and it was credited unto him as righteousness." and further explains and shows how our salvation is through faith and believing in Christ, belonging to Him. The main thing I took away from this chapter is to always keep relying on faith and to not go back to relying on only the flesh. Like it says in Galatians 3:3 "Are you so foolish? After beginning by means of the spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh?" Let us not rely on the flesh which is weak but in Christ who gives us strength. - Ben W
