Game shows, puzzles, sitcoms, laundromats, trailer parks, cucumbers, pork chops and apple sauce, flower gardens where Id make you perfume, laughter, sailor mouthed cursing, sunny D, penny candies, honest attitude, elephants, bingo, RC soda, coffee, earrings, Alsip Certified, Egg Man, the banana, impossible math equations, coffee cakes, secret phone calls, stories and crocheting is just the small meaningless list to anyone else, but between me and my Gram it was my childhood. She was more than a Grandma; she was a part time mom and dad, and a friend. A security. Looking back she taught me things I never knew I would need to know until now. She was stubborn and often outlandish but she was a riot. Gramquackers I know you keep your promises and I am glad this chapter is closed for you. I know this was how GOD wrote it in His book and in time, Ill re-read the chapters with more smiles and less tears. And Ill always have the interview we created together for my college class so I can remember your voice and your smile.
