Garden Theatre Announces Auditions for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels Auditions for All Roles Held August 10 - 12 at Garden Theatre WINTER GARDEN, FL (July 15, 2013) – The Garden Theatre is pleased to announce auditions for Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, book written by Jeffrey Lane, music and lyrics by David Yazbek, directed by Julia Gagne. Auditions are held Saturday, August 10 by appointment only, with callbacks on August 11 and 12 at the Garden Theatre (160 West Plant Street in Winter Garden). Saturday, August 10, 2013 12 – 7 pm - Singing auditions by appointment only To sign up, email [email protected] Sunday, August 11, 2013 12 – 7 pm - Callbacks by invitation only Dance combination, singing, reading Monday, August 12, 2013 5 – 10 pm - Callbacks by invitation only AUDITION REQUIREMENTS • Each performer should be ready to perform 16 bars (approximately 30 seconds - 1 minute) of both a ballad and an up-tempo Broadway song. Be prepared to sing the entire song if asked and please provide sheet music for accompanist. No mp3 players, CDs, or a cappella, please. • Sides will be provided at callbacks and performers should be prepared to read sides if requested. • Each performer should bring two headshots/resumés, if available. • Each performer should know their schedule availability for the rehearsal and performance period, from December 1, 2013 through February 23, 2014 (tentatively no rehearsals from December 20 through January 2).
