Gary M. Heidnik I will be doing a 3 part story. On November 26, 1986 Josefina Rivera life had taken a horrible turn. She just left her boyfriends house after a fight. In the cold rain she noticed a silver and white Cadillac following her. Seeing the nice car and the man inside who was nice, she got in. He interduced himself as Gary Heidnik. She thought he was nice enough. They went back to his house where she noticed the strange key that had been cut into two pieces half which stayed in the lock so only Gary could get in. As they went in Josefina noticed the wall decorated with pennies that were glued on to half the walls and in the hallway the walls had been partially covered with one and five dollar bills. Suddenly, Heidnik started to choke her he released his grip then pulled her arms behind her back then handcuffed her wrists then let her into a cold ,dark, damp basement. Heidnik dragged her to a dirty mattress where there were metal clamps which he put her ankles and connected the other end to a chain. The chain was fastened around a large pipe that was attached to the ceiling. When Josefina Oh work to a small room that was her prison in the center of the floor there was a small area of concrete that had been removed and a shallow pit that had been dug. Heidnik told her all he wanted was a large family and that he already fathered for children to 4 different women he wanted to get 10 women to father his children after the small talk he raped her. Left alone Josefina loosened one of the leg clamps and went to the window. Stretching the chain as far as it could go she lifted herself halfway out the window unable to excape fully she screamed the only person to hear her screams was Heidnik. He pulled her back inside beating her with a stick until she became quiet then he pushed her down into the hole that was in the floor. He forced her head to her chest and then covered her with a piece of plywood and stacked heavy weights on top of it ,as she lay half naked and cramped up in a freezing earth she tried to breathe and waited for death. From the small hole in the floor she heard another woman her heart jump as the floor boards were being lifted there was another woman there her name was Sandy Lindsay she was naked from the waist down and was chained to the pipe as she was her first night come to find out sandy had been a friend of Garys for many years they met at Elwyn Institute which was a hospital for the mentally handicapped.
