Gauteng provincial multi lateral report Date: 25 July 2014 Time: 09h00-12H00 1) PMDS 2013 / 14 # The employer reported that they were given a mandate to pay the incentive bonus for 2013/14. # The budget for the bonus is R 280 000 000. # The break down on payment was not done because region A had entered the data wrongly on the persal system. Resolution * The employer will give a break down report on Monday the 4th via email. * There will be a special multi lateral on the 8th of August 2014 to discuss and agree on the proposed break down. 2) Uniform allowance for nurses (outstanding cpix balance) # The employer reported that they received an authorization circular to pay the cpix difference. # A circular with the cpix and the monetary figures will be out not later than Tuesday. # The payment order has been issued to the seta to pay by the first week of August. Resolution * Awaiting the circular by Monday. 3) Closure of Folateng # There is a plan by national department of health to integrate The Folateng units with the public hospital units. # Other institutions are said to have started with the process. Resolution * The employer will give a written report on the matter and present it in the next multi lateral. The report here only talks to issues that affect nurses. There are other issues that affect other staff members eg clerks and cleaners, those we will not report on as they do not affect us. Amandla
