Gday Everyone, so pleased that Dave Dean idea of selfie photos has taken off so well. This is my hubby Rick and myself, out of our comfort zone at Darling Harbour Sydney, where we had a few hours to kill between flights home. My camera loved a change of scenery and clicking. ;-) Well considering everyone can see me in my profile pic I thought I would add my other half in this one. We live in Outback Qld Aus, any further west & we would be in the Northern Territory. We own/live on a beef cattle property, our shire is 61,000 square kilometres with a population of 600. There are two towns in that area, we live 10km from the biggest of 300 people. The whole shire is made up of beef cattle properties in what is known as channel country, natural treeless plains, wide open spaces and if I can pinch this from my American friends, big sky country. I can totally understand when people say they use photography as an escape or a sanity tool. Anyone that knows me will tell you my camera is an extension of my arm, my baby that goes every where with me. The connections I have made via photography and now especially via photography via SM is numerous and gives me great joy, as this page does. Dave & Steph Dean, I met via photography & SM when Dave invited me to join him on this venture. Im so very pleased that each of you bring so much joy to each other, that is such a wonderful thing to be a part of. So THANKS so much for making this page as special as what it is. Making it mean so much to so many, that is something you should all be very proud of.
