Gday folks, With the weekend almost upon us here is CFNs highly anticipated weekend wrap up for this week. Tomorrow morning, meeting at 6.10am will be the CFN MTB ride at the Glenrock gates near the water tower, on the Fernleigh Loop. This will depend on weather, so please keep an eye on the CFN Facebook page which will be updated prior if the ride is to be cancelled. The CFN crew will be heading to Friday night World Champs at HDCCs Kooragang clubhouse from 5.15 pm, with CFN shutting at 5. Please keep this in mind if you have any needs for the weekend. We will post on the site if the race has been cancelled due to inclement weather, but please check the HDCC Facebook for updates to be safe. Saturday morning will be the CFN bunch ride, leaving CFN at 7am. We will do the hills loop around the coast line, returning to Hunter St Mall for coffee around 8.30am. Depending on numbers, we may split the bunch into two groups for faster riders and such, so if you are a less confident hill climber or just out to spin up the hills, please feel free to come along and join the second group on the road. Also, to clear up confusion, the bunch will regroup at the following points along the ride : King Edward Park top carpark (after the KEP climb), Fernleigh Loop/Glenrock gate (after the Scenic drive climb) and the Ocean St bus stop (after the Redhead Rd climb). Saturday afternoon will be the Kooragang Christmas Handicap race, starting at 4pm at KOCCs Greenleaf rd clubhouse. If youre looking for someone to ride over with please let us know and well let you know who is headed over from CFN. Sunday Morning is racing at HVMCC at 8am for the over 30s, and also criteriums at The Mick Chapman Crit Track, hosted by HDCC, beginning at 8am.
