Gelb said a couple of weeks ago, that unless the unions accepted - TopicsExpress

Gelb said a couple of weeks ago, that unless the unions accepted his demands, he saw no other choice but to lock everyone out. Lo and behold, that previous deadline passed, and another choice materialized in the bringing in of the mediator and the auditor. Now he is again saying that if this NEW deadline is also reached without an acceptance of his demands he again has no other choice but to lock everyone out. Mr. Gelb, there are other choices. Here are a few I can think of in 1 minute. 1. Continue to talk. 2. Take the offered concessions, rather than the demanded ones. 3. Find middle ground. 4. Have a change of heart and do not strive to impose cuts, and, rather, raise more money. etc, etc.
