Gen. George S. Patton was assassinated to silence his criticism of allied war leaders claims new book! “We have had a victory over the Germans and disarmed them, but we have failed in the liberation of Europe; we have lost the war!” George S. Patton. Patton was indeed correct. We defeated the Nazis only to allow the Commies to enslave Eastern Europe for the next 45 years. It took the triumphant trio of President Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher and Pope John Paul to finally end WWll. The Soviet Union dissolved between 1989 and 1991. I believe the assassination of Patton to be true. I remember when I was a kid in NYC overhearing my dad and relatives talking about Patton; agreeing in their belief that he was indeed silenced by the commie infested FDR/Truman administration. This only adds to my distrust in our government post WWII. It hurts to think an American as true as General Patton could be eliminated.
