General Manager Leo Sfikas recently had the pleasure of touring the new Automobile Mechanics Local NO.701 headquarters in Carol Stream. Their new facility has a state-of-the-art automobile apprenticeship program that is designed to teach students who are new to the trade, as well as experienced veterans, about the latest technology available in the automotive industry. These classes are offered in subjects such as automotive technology, air conditioning, welding, and more. Each class focuses on the necessary processes and procedure required to perform professionally, beyond expectations in the work force. Once completed, the students will be ASE certified. There is a maximum of ten students allowed in each class, giving each individual student a one-on-one experience. The apprenticeship program is offered at no cost to all members of the Automobile Mechanics Local NO. 701. We at Currie Motors Chevrolet look forward to working with this great organization!
