Generally, Christmas time makes me want to cry (always has). I know, happy, not sappy. So, as I sit and reminisce about days gone by, I try to remember I am in the present and circumstances are different. I am no longer a child, my children are no longer children, and I cannot be with everyone all at the same time. Things happen for a reason and watching Mass last night reminded me of what I need to be thankful for. My family (wherever they are) are healthy, happy, and enjoying this day because God made it so. There are those who arent so lucky. So, I will count my blessings, appreciate what I have, and say that I love the fact that I have my soul mate to share and cherish whatever this day may bring...
