Genes are a funny thing. What you inherit is interesting & some things more surprising & interesting than others. Some you dont talk about like you would eye & hair color. My granddaughter inherited a most unusual physical trait from her grandma that no one ever knew about as a distinct physical trait & I never would have noticed myself nor her parents most likely if the dr hadnt mentioned it first & had her checked out to make sure there was nothing more to it that might be a sign of a physical abnormality...it wasnt & I was able to reassure them as well that it was not. Its pretty cool tho bc its something that cannot be attributed as coming from anyone else but me as far as I know. I thought nothing of it & assumed everyone had one like it for many years. Needless to say I eventually discovered that was not so ;-)).
