Genius Indigenous Babies Part 1 of 4... I posted a few weeks ago about the White House Initiative on American Indian and Alaska Native Education hosting a Listening Tour. Im so thankful that they stopped in OKC to hear from our community about the educational experience of our Native students. Lots of great words were spoken but the highlight of the day was hearing our kids speak. We were told by the White House reps that our students were the special guests and they were most interested in what they had to say. And rightfully so. Ill be posting 4 videos. This first video is of my Sac & Fox niece, Ryleigh Hernandez. She is the daughter of Riann Griggs and granddaughter of Alecia Onzahwah and Tosawi Saddler, who brought her to the event. This 8 year-old, soft spoken, warrior is wise beyond her years and Im so glad I was able to hear her speak.
