George Amicay just inlayed this first fret position marker containing REAL mother-of-pearl AND REAL green abalone. THIS man IS THE REAL deal. Notice that it matches the 12th fret position marker containing REAL mother-of-pearl AND REAL green abalone...quite well. NOT an easy thing to do!! This is a 62 Stratocaster neck. The position dots are mother-of-pearl. Today, Fender uses plastic dots. We cant have that!! Back in the day, (on the vintage guitars), they used clay for the dot inlays.
