Georges bike is now finally fixed. We are staying at Springbok Lodge for the night, getting some aircon and freeze some water for tomorrow . Its too late in the day to start peddling now with the heat wave up here. Everyday we have had 40° so we need to leave early in the morning while it is cooler. Mainly because the trailer acted as the donkey for water and we cant work out where to carry large amounts with the panniers. It is a horrible feeling carrying weight on the front wheel. The bike seems heavier now and totally unbalanced, its going to take a while to get used to that. It also feels really wobbly going down hill. Anyway that will all sort itself out with practice. Right now we are enjoying the little things in life: TV, aircon, fridge :-) :-)
