Georgias New Gun Free For All Law HB 60 would, if signed by the governor allow guns in schools, bars and public buildings. I have never been and organizer (or organized, for that matter) but I feel like this is a call to action. I watched while Arizona was pulled from the brink of discriminatory legislation by threats of economic boycott. Can one of my more intelligent, activist friends guide me in an emergency (we have less than 38 days) campaign to stop this law? I believe that the NRA prevails because it holds the purse strings. Consumers hold the purse strings too. Georgia is an important economic center with several fortune 500 hundred companies and thousands of conventions. How do we use our powers as consumers, tourists, stockholders to a fight against this mass insanity disguised as the 2nd amendment???? It would extend the already regrettable Stand Your Ground Law to felons. It doesnt require much thought to put this together to see that an annoying patron in a bar can become a victim of a gun toting patron. Something must be done
