Getting it Right from the start. (Habakkuk 2 v 1-2) As it is right now, we all know that the year 2014 is about to go on exile. We will never see it again! It is another time to make resolutions, plan for another year, and draw another budget. It is therefore important we get it right from the onset so that we will not be disappointed in ourselves at the end of the coming year. The Lord is calling our attention to WRITING down our plans, aspirations, and goals to be achieved in 2015. By now, we should be able to set our priorities in order and work or discipline ourselves to achieving great things as greatness doesnt come easily. It requires a level of discipline, consistency, persistency, and determination. Remember, any plans that excludes God is a plans for the winds. In that wise, I would like to give us a guide. 1. Spiritual goals 2. Academic goals/ Career 3. Personal goals ( finance, time, relationships, etc) All should and must be centered on making you please God and becoming a better man/ woman at the end of the year. These can be broken down to different units and could be measurable. Any vision for 2015 must be SMART, by this I mean it must be Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time bound. 2015 will be better than this year for you and I.
