Getting ready for our first Town Hall Meeting FOX6 News is teaming up with Call for Action to host a free town hall meeting on used cars on Thursday, September 25. It will be held at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens Lecture Hall from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. This consumer education event is designed to help the community better prepare for purchasing a used car, discuss the challenges of getting an as-is vehicle, answer questions about used car repairs after you drive off the lot and tips on how to avoid a making costly mistakes before signing off on that new vehicle. Panelists will include representatives from Call For Action, AutoCheck (a vehicle history provider) and the Federal Trade Commission. The meeting is open to the public and will be free of charge.
