Getting your email via your Internet Service Provider (ISP)? Not a - TopicsExpress

Getting your email via your Internet Service Provider (ISP)? Not a good idea for a couple of reasons. First off, it locks you into that ISP in order to get your email and secondly, its not a permanent address that you control. If you move or switch to a faster ISP, you have to change your email address. We recommend going with a free email account from Google, Microsoft or even Yahoo! instead. Even better, register a domain name of your own and have an address that you can keep the rest of your life. Its easy to do and can cost as little as a 5 to 10 dollars a year to maintain.
