Ghana To Summon Muntari, Boateng Over World Cup Chaos .......................... The two midfielders who were sent home during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil will be appearing before a Presidential Commission looking into Ghanas failed campaign. Suspended Ghana midfielders, Sulley Muntari and Kevin- Prince Boateng, will be appearing before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into the Black Stars’ World Cup campaign in Brazil. The chairman of the commission, Justice Senyo Dzamefe, has given a clear indication that the duo who were suspended and sent home at the global football fiesta over issues of insubordination will attend the hearing of the three- member body scheduled to begin next Monday. “For instance, some players who were sanctioned during the tournament will be given the opportunity to give their side of the story,” he told Ghana’s biggest newspaper Daily Graphic.. Justice Dzamefe added that the Ministry of Youth and Sports would be tasked to liaise with the respective clubs of the players involved to ensure their release. “I don’t think that will be a problem since the players will be needed for just one day. If there is the need to invite any player the Ministry will liaise with their clubs to bring them down,” he stressed. Meanwhile, the Chairman has also stressed that the commission is not in to witch-hunt anyone. “It’s not a witch-hunting commission because no group or person is targeted,” he said. “It’s inquisitorial.” The other two members of the commission are Moses Foh Amoaning and Dr. Kofi Anokye Owusu Darko.
