Sachin was not just a Lil Master , He was everything that Batting stands for-- Attitude , Positive thinking , Footwork, Body Position , Scoring runs & scoring as many runs as he possibly could ,all for a Good Cause-------------------------- such into the Row... Source Link :: espncricinfo/ci/content/video_audio/772183.html espncricinfo/ci/content/video_audio/772183.html ---& I m aure if you watch the ball by Ball video of Sachin vs Siddle in New Ball , even few days ago in LORDS --U will find it 100% perfect :) The Demo is described in detail following Crowes quotes Directly ...... The little master is incredbly well known for his run scoring feats but what I marvel to bat on d most was his ability to move... Against d moving ball all around the World , against d best players all around the World , Sachin tendulkar moved like No other batsman that I ever watched..I , 1st saw sachin to bat at the age of 16.He walked out to play at christchurch in d 1st test in 1990..& I thought this is unfair..,he has to face up against d best bowler in d world Richard Hadlee , infact he dint get to face Richard Hadlee in that innings.. because Danny Morrison bowled him a beautiful Out swinger & unfortunately Sachin nicked it , got a 1st Ball duck.. But in d next Test in Napier, he scored 88 & became , nearly the Youngest Test Player to score a 100..he fell 12 short (by) scoring 88..but during that 3 hrs at the crease , He just showed what was (about) to come in d next 24 years -(that) was his Ability to Move & in Particular to play Straight.....I dont think , ever (have) seen any 1 played so straight for so long ,under so much pressure than Sachin Tendulkar did... The reason why Sachin played so straight was because he aligned his body to(with) d Ball.. & to do that he moved both Feet to get into the line with the ball.. So he had this lil trigger movement & u come forward & then line up & then the back foot would come around.. & Would Straightened the body up so (that) he could hit straight Down the ground... & he did this year after year after year... Beautiful punches down d On-side..past the Non striker were his Signature I felt.. & off course that sends a message to d bowler where do u bowl ? bcause as soon as they bowled bit wider he had the ability to go Back-- & play off the Backfoot through d off side , he had ability to Pull..but mainly he worked d ball with d vertical bat.. was very good at playing straight off d backfoot & on d Front foot.. .......bcause he had this ability to move just like a Dancer , against all bowlers , in particularly & importantly against Pace Bowler . 1 of the Great things that Sachin did is to rotate d Strike to keep scoring .. By using his footwork he was able to position d Body just to be able to turn d bat & worked d ball into d On side to pick up singles .or open d face slightly & get a single through point ....He was always able to position himself & just gently placed d ball into d gap to keep d score board ticking over.. ...that was also amazing . I though the other thing about Sachin Tendulkar, was -----------that he was just amazing against spin Bowling, because he kept in reading simple , he was always in line with d ball, was looking to hit straight , or was looking to upset d bowlers length.. I think, the innings sticks out of my mind more than anything about Sachin Tendulkar was the 241*(amended) he scored at d SCG , when he was out of FORM ..He came into that Test Match , & he just set himself on getting behind the ball & on doing so he scored his 70%to80% of his Runs on d ON SIDE -- -----------Anything Outside of his Right Eye , Outside of the OFF STUMP,-----He let go ..he dint play into the off Side, he waited for d bowler to come straight where he was beautiful all Day , & he Scored his lots of his runs through the ON SIDE ..... , bcause of his desire to Move his FEET , to MOVE his Body into Line , so that he could take Out the Risk of getting Out & that was a perfect performance at the SCG.. No matter , what d Format , If he was opening in the One Dayers or batting 4 in d Test Matches, he still applied a very Positive approach to his Game , he saw d ball, he was looking to score runs.. but to score runs he knew he had to get into position...& what I Know this in One Day Games, in particular, was he got onto position , so that he could exploit d Field , he could exploit the rules , to ONE DAY RESTRICTIONS & I thought that was Incredible simple thinking , thinking that helped him to become Not only a Great Test Player but Also the Best ONE DAY PLAYER in d World as well... Its(As) time came on for Sachin--he had to continue to work harder & harder & harder -----------& making sure he was Fit , & He was agile & that He was fit for working......................... To back past the age of 35 & to bat on to 40..------------showing ----------------------------------------- how much care & Attention he put into his Footwork & into his Body Movement , & off course his fitness & his devotion to nutrition & having his mind positive --these all parts r making him still 1 of the finest players even at d end of his career.. Sachin was not just a Lil Master , He was everything that Batting stands for-- Attitude , Positive thinking, Footwork, Body Position , Scoring runs & scoring as many runs as he possibly could ,all for a Good Cause such into the Row...
