Giving Thanks, Day 19: I am thankful for the extraordinary talent and dedication of the people who have made it possible for me to be in so many wonderful musicals. Mexia Theatre Project 2001-08: Music Man, The Sound of Music, The King and I, Big River, Beauty and the Beast, Fiddler on the Roof, Seussical, Little Shop of Horrors (I didnt give myself permission to audition for the first MTP musical - Annie - because I knew I had such a busy work year. When I saw the performance, of course, I had to join up!) Thanks to Dwayne Craig, Ronda Jobe Craig, Marc Pam-Hennig Wilson! First Baptist Church: Two From Galilee, Amahl and the Night Visitors and this years Scrooge: Carol with an Attitude. Thanks to Marc Wilson and San Mullenax! Community Theater: Urinetown. I really miss spending my Fall with the MTP crowd, although Im happy to be back with some of that terrific crowd: Cyndii Lane and Tiffany, James Dorman, Jodi Lind Young, Stephanie Contu, Anna Schuster Kantor, Michael Clements. Thanks to Dennis McMenamy for letting me help out with the Groesbeck High School musicals: Music Man 2009 and Oklahoma 2010. Its been a while since Ive written a parody song for my musical crowd...
