Giving myself the gift of reflection this morning. The kids are all well enough to go hang out at the Y for the morning and Im sitting in a relatively quiet laundry mat wondering at the ginormous (it is a word!) changes the kids and I have gone through this past year...truly a full circle year. Bittersweet, with lots of loss and grief, yet our hearts are full going into this Christmas season. Weve come home to a village thats wrapped its arms around us and loved us...so thoroughly, in fact, that Ive had to pray for grace to receive it as it feels incredibly strange to accept an abundance of blessings I couldnt begin to earn. This experience is teaching me that my tomorrow does not have to be like today...just as today is nothing like my yesterdays! Thank you to each of you whove touched my life and the lives of my kids this year and especially over the last three or four months or so. You have changed our trajectory completely!
