Glad that over the past 6 months Jess and I have been systematically replacing every battery in our house with rechargables. Cost more up front, but weve already more than recuperated the cost. Anyone planning on having kids, you need to factor batteries into your budget! We probably have 50 batteries deployed just in MacKinnons toys alone. Knowing that all we need to do is recharge them takes a lot of the worry away. Another observation: The charger is pretty much a permanantly used applicance now. I should just find a good spot to put it. Seems like we use it every day. A final observation: Eneloop batteries have far surpassed the Energizer batteries that they sell at Walmart/Target. Cost a few bucks more a pack but they charge much faster and hold up longer in the devices.
