Gladstone Road Information Update This information was correct as at 7.00am, Monday 02 September 2013 For further information regarding Transport and Main Road roads such as: Gladstone Monto Road, Boyne Valley (Many Peaks to Monto), Tableland and Fingerboard Road (Southern Region - Miriam Vale), Essendean Bridge please refer to Department of Transport and Main Roads Website. (Please visit 131940.qld.gov.au for Department of Transport and Main Roads closures) SOUTHERN: Roads Closed • Bebo Arch Culvert on Round Hill Road approximately 5km north of Fingerboard Intersection towards Agnes Water closed to all traffic - Gladstone Regional Council have installed detour options as below. Open With Caution • A single lane, side track has been established and is Open to traffic around the Bebo Arch culvert, on Round Hill Road. This will be under the control of traffic lights. Motorists are warned to expect delays. Road users are advised that many roads have been damaged by flooding. They should expect potholes and other related defects. Restoration works will commence in the near future and are expected to be complete by the end of 2014. WESTERN: Roads Closed: • Ferguson Road, Closed at Calliope River • Blackgate Road Closed at Calliope River ROAD CLOSURE - Blackmans Gap Road - The range section on Blackmans Gap Road (about 19.5km from its connection with the Bruce Highway) will be closed from July 2 to mid-September. See our Blackmans Gap Road Works Project Page (click here). CENTRAL: ROAD CLOSURE - Weeroona Road Bridge, North of Old Coach Road, Locality of Stowe. Residents in the area are advised the bridge will be closed due to a failed deck for an indefinite period to carry out investigations and major repairs. Weeroona Road, which is a loop road with both ends intersecting with the Dawson Highway, will be restricted to local traffic only. Until the repairs are effected Weeroona Road will be a no through road and access to properties will only be available from the appropriate end. Expected completion - End of August, 2013.
