Glen Campbell has Alzheimers disease and recently recorded what will probably be his last song Im Not Gonna Miss You. Life becomes precious to us in times like these. The richness of our relationships with those we love becomes immeasurable as years take their toll and we become sensitized to how few of them we really have. Make every day count. Make every encounter with family and friends to be one where we wring out of it all we can of the stuff that really matters. Hold short accounts. Work through tough times. Seek forgiveness where you can. Most importantly forgive yourself. Let go of the trivial. Face your fears head on and dont be afraid to grab hold of someones hand to do so. Tell those you love that you love them and mean it. Become at peace with God, and yourself, so that you have the capacity to fill every moment with great memories. Glens dilemma reminds me of how short life really is. At the end of the day what will only matter is how well we loved. Lets make life count before we too slip away..........
