Gloucester Township Police Media Release: Crime Stoppers Tips And Social Media Lead GTPD To Burglary And Theft Arrest On November 5, 2014 at approximately 4:50 PM, an unknown male entered the opened garage door of a home on Linden Drive. The male reportedly left with a lawn mower and a gas leaf blower. The theft was captured on a property owners surveillance system that was provided to the Gloucester Township Police. On November 6, 2014 the video footage was released and broadcast on the GTPDs many social media outlets. Numerous citizen tips were provided, which led to the identification of the suspect, who was later apprehended by GTPD Investigation Bureau Detectives on November 14th. The suspect, Leo Osterheldt, was interviewed and connected to the crime. He was charged with burglary and theft then remanded to Camden County Jail in default of $10,000 / 10% cash bail.
