Gm FB! Up praying that everyone is in a better space with themselves this morning! I want to thank everyone for the encouragement and the texts and inboxes. It means alot to me! I sometimes get frustrated also so I need your continued support to keep me going also. We make each other better. I will continue to be me and do what I am put here to do, no matter what ppl say or do to try to throw things off course. Its just when you put in your hard work, money and time, and ppl say negative things; it sometimes frustrate you but I do have to understand that everyone isnt on the same page and that if Dr. King had let that got in his way; we will not be where we are today. I know that most of you all know, understand and appreciate what I do for the community and I am going to keep on! Now because there is a fee for something, that does not mean its not for the community! Bringing entertainment in helps generate revenue for the community, exposure, growth, unity, developement,and gives ppl something to do and many other positives. Trust me, if I was in it to pad my pockets; I wouldve been out of it because there is rarely profit in these small towns when you promote and host events. Ask someone who does them! By the time you get done with radio, clean-up,advertisement,paying the artist(which is no where cheap), and doing other things, it is hardly ever profitable! I know that ppl who just dont know, have their own assumptions and opinions and thats their right. I have no problem with that. I respect that, but I wish we will start looking at the big picture more and get out of that way of thinking. If I can be a force in the community and help to it; then thats what I will do. So chip and and help better the movement instead of criticizing everything or talking down. Lets learn at some point to get along for a common goal.
