God Created A Boy Scout God looked down from heaven and said I need to encourage boys to become men with my ideals. To develop into a man that is physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight. To do his duty to me and to his country. So God created a Boy Scout. God said I need him to learn to be Trustworthy. Someone who knows right from wrong and whom I can depend on. Someone whose words and hand shake is true and meaningful. So God created a Boy Scout. I need someone who is Loyal. Someone who will not turn his back on his family, friends, or me. God said I need him to learn to be Helpful and Friendly. I need him to understand he should stop what he is doing and offer his assistance to those in need, and to do it with a smile. God said I need him to be Courteous. Someone who is willing to think of others first and put his needs behind him. So God created a Boy Scout. God said I need him to be Kind to others even if they do not agree with him. To treat others with the respect even if they do not respect you. I need someone who is Obedient. Someone that understands that there is a reason for rules that I have set for them. Someone who honors his Father and Mother without hesitation. So God created a Boy Scout. God said I need him to be Cheerful no matter if its work or play, day or night, rain or snow, hot or cold, at school or at home. He should be thankful for what he has and not envious for what he does not. I need him to be Brave, someone who will stand up for what he believes or feels. Let him have the courage, strength, and compassion for his fellowman. So God created a Boy Scout. God said he should be Thrifty. Let him not want what he does not need or spend what he does not have. Let him understand that worldly possessions do not make him a better man. Let him learn to be wise and truthful for these traits are more valuable. He should be Clean not only in his appearance but in his thought as well. Most of all I need him to be Reverent to be true to me and my house.
