God always gives us a sign. I have never been able to grow Gardenias (Rosal in the PH) and this was the 3rd and last time I would try, or so I thought. When my beloved cat Ming-Ming died of stomach cancer, I searched through the Bible for words of comfort that my lovely cat is in heaven (assuming she had a soul) but I found none. I cried and asked God to give me sign that when I die I will see her in heaven. And God obliged. Not only did He give me one Gardenia flower but three, one each I like to think, for the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Every year since then, in May, the month of our Blessed Virgin Mother, God gave me more and more sweet smelling Gardenias. Halleluia! Thanks be to God!
