God, are You having fun with me??? So I had my first question on Tumblr! A new follower asked: “Do u get messages from God to give to other people?” I responded that I write what comes to me to share, but I don’t know who the messages are for, but people tell me that God speaks to them through my posts. I said if you feel God is speaking you, then most likely He is! It could be through a book, a magazine or through someone else! Fast forward a few minutes later, I couldn’t calm my nerves, still frazzled by what happened yesterday and a little crazy after a rough morning getting kids out to school! My usual meditation book didn’t do the trick to calm my nerves, and instead I decided to read an old post. I opened the file where I have hundreds of them saved and of all the posts for me to read, I incredibly read the following: “God is our constant Companion! Slow down, calm down and listen to God’s voice and follow His direction, taking life one step at a time. This may not really be a voice, but a strong feeling, something in a book or magazine, or a conversation with someone else, but the more you practice listening, the better you get at it! It was a calendar on the wrong date years ago that I believe was God confirming that I should move to Nigeria! And that was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made!” (Despite what happened yesterday!!!) SLIGHT CORRECTION: … if you feel God is speaking you, then most likely He is! It could be through a book, a magazine or through someone else OR FROM SOMETHING YOU WROTE YOURSELF!!! ¡Ay, caramba! God, you’re too good! Thanks, Papa! I needed that laugh! WE ROLL WITH GOD!
