God continues to work miracles in Zacharys life. When I saw him yesterday, the nurse was trying to encourage him to drink and then asked me to encourage him. Well, when I was leaving, I stated next Tuesday I wont have to drive back home. Zachary responded with, Oh joy, 12 hours of you and the nurses making me drink. I responded with, no, just 11 hours because I ll have lunch and leave before 9. Then I found his speech homework. He stated, hw was optional and Nicole wasnt going to be at work on Wed., so he had more time to complete the work. This is the story of his middle school years. While visiting, he was looking at a car magazine just like he normally sits and reads as if there wasnt an accident. Today Paul reported Zachary dressed with little assistance and practiced more transfers. He worked on a game called Blueprint, which Paul said involved memory and spatial relationships. When I talked to Zachary, he remember one of speech sessions, lunch and dinner. He also remember had an X-ray to determine if can be weight bearing. Please keep praying for complete recovery.
